Cats have glands around their mouth and face that they use to mark their territory. It's what they are doing when you see them rub their head on your leg or furniture. It sounds like with the introduction of the new kitty her glands may have kicked into high gear. Give it some time and it may go away once they set their territories and she gets used to the thought of him being there. Or if you're really concerned make a vet visit and explain everything to the doc.
