What to say to a neighbor who asks you what hours you work?

I do have a tendancy to be late to work but I am not paid by the hour so it really doesnt matter but I also come back early at times. But mosty Im late. My neighbor wanted to know my hours I worked. I know she was checking up on my lateness, I work in a school system so I guess she felt as a parent I should be doing my job. In actuality I work with students but not as whole clrooms and also not with her kids. I just thought is was nosey and I answered her but now wish I had had a better reply than having to tell a neighbor my personal schedule. I would not have had the nerve to ask her or any one else.
