Diabetes Question?

My wife is a Type 1 Diabetic, the worst kind. We have no insurance, and do not make enough money to get any. As any diabetic knows, supplies are big $$$. Is there any government programs, or any programs for that matter that can help us get more supplies. We can't afford them, and I have had no luck finding help of any kind. My wife is having insulin reactions sometimes four times a week. We don't have any way of testing her blood sugar. Please someone out there help my wife, I am so afraid that I will come home from work one day and find her dead, or in a coma which is just as bad. I don't know what to do, I love my wife dearly, more than anything else in the world, I would die for her without a second thought. Someone please help
