Can blood be tainted from a healthy donor who later gets cancer?

Okay, I didn't know how to word this question, so let me explain. In 1992 I was extremely sick and needed a blood transfusion and so my mother who back then was healthy gave me a pint of her blood. Twelve years later my mother is diagnosed with lung cancer and dies 3 years after being diagnosed. Is there a chance I could get cancer because of the blood she gave me years ago?
